Banana Oat Waffles                                                                        Recipes

These waffles are simple and so tasty - combining rolled oats with sweet bananas to give a hearty, flavorful texture to a healthy and fun breakfast, or dinner anytime!

​

Simple to mix into a quick batter, just blend the ingredients, pour into a greased waffle iron and bake till done.

​

Add other flavors if you like, vanilla (1/2 - 1 tsp), and additional toppings (pecans, berries, pure maple syrup) and even more fresh bananas, sliced across the top.

Ingredients

1 banana
2 eggs
1 cup rolled oats (gluten free, organic)
1 tsp baking powder
1 Tbs honey

 

Directions

Blend all ingredients together either using a spoon/hand mixer or blender/food processor (*if using a blender/food processor, the oats will grind into flour). Pour into greased waffle iron and cook until done. Makes 6-7 mini waffles.

 

*Add chocolate chips or blueberries into the batter for an extra treat.
